Travel Links to Thorpe Hall

Thorpe Hall Golf Club is situated less than a mile from Thorpe Bay station which is the last but one stop on the C2C London Fenchurch Street line to Shoeburyness.

Those with energy could walk to the Club within 10 minutes but there is a taxi rank outside the exit from the station.

Southend is also serviced by the Great Eastern train service from London Liverpool Street to Southend Victoria which is approximately three miles from the course. Again a taxi rank is located outside the station.

Both rail links provide an alternative means of travel for visitors who may wish to enjoy a meal and a few glasses of wine before returning home. The two main roads into and out of Southend, namely the A13 and A127 can be very congested during early morning and late afternoon.

By Air

London Southend International Airport is approximately four miles from the course and provides flights to and from regional UK airports as well as several European countries.

No excuse for overseas members of societies to miss the opportunity to play our wonderful course.
